Holiday Gift Guide #11: Gifts for Techies

{Editorial Note: So today I have decided to do a post for electronics and since these days both guys and gals have tons of electronics, this is just a general post – although, there is two items.}
Techie Gift #1
Company: iHome
Featured Item: iHome Alarm Clock for Apple iPod, $59.99 (at Best Buy
It’s pretty safe to say that these days, almost everyone has an iPod or another type of MP3 player (but let’s be serious – does anyone actually own a Zune?), including my 8 year old cousin. And most people  also need alarm clocks to help them get their butts in gear (except my 8 year old cousin, because she rises before the sun, as all children do). That combination makes an iHome alarm clock an essential for nearly every human being.
I particularly adore this iHome model because it has a remote control that can be useful when you’re sleeping and don’t want to bother reaching for the snooze button doing chores around the house and need some tunes to keep you motivated.
Techie Gift #2
Company: Magnavox
A few years ago the TV in my bedroom stopped working because I accidentally dropped it randomly. My parents, being the loving, awesome, amazing people that they are, bought me a new one for my birthday. The TV they got me also had a DVD player built in, as most TVs (including the broken one) these days do.
A TV might seem like kind of a weird holiday gift, but if you’ve got family member or friend that is heading off to college, or into their own apartment and they don’t already have a TV (or theirs mysteriously breaks) then I am sure this is a gift they will definitely appreciate.
{… its really hard to come up with 50ish amazing gift ideas… bear with me people.}
