Keeping Up With Kanye

{I know – it’s the most unoriginal title ever, but it’ll have to do.}

It’s old news that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been quietly dating for the past few months.

Oh, I’m sorry – did I say “quietly?”

I meant to say they’ve been obnoxiously throwing their relationship at every tabloid reporter in the world, and that Kanye announced their relationship by way of rap song.
Now, according to Perez Hilton, Kim has acknowledged that Kanye will probably make an appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Honestly, I’m not at all surprised by that. What is surprising, however, is what Kim had to say about her privacy:

“I showed so much of myself in the past. You almost get embarrassed showing this big wedding, which I would have had cameras or not. So I think you want to just guard yourself.”

Wait, what was that Kim? You almost got embarrassed by showing your ridiculously over-the-top wedding? Don’t get me wrong, if I had the funds to finance it, I’d throw a wedding just as grandiose. But I’d make sure I was in it for the long haul, which I conservatively define as at least 2 years, before selling my engagement story to the tabloids, and allowing my production company to film my wedding and air it internationally. But no, Ms. Kardashian’s relationship lasted almost exactly two and a half months before the rumors of divorce turned out to be true. 72 days, to be exact. A number that will live in infamy!

The moral of the story? Kim hasn’t really learned her lesson. Should be a great season!

Let me know in the comments what you think of Kim’s complete lack of humility.

{P.S.: While I was searching for posts to link up to this, I realized I haven’t tagged Kim Kardashian in a post since her engagement was announced almost 1 year ago!  And I’ve never tagged one with Kanye! That deserves some type of blogging medal of honor, right?}
