New York Fashion Week: Hervé Léger By Max Azria

Well well, look who came to play. Hervé Léger, known for the infamous bodycon dresses of seasons passed, has definitely impressed me with the Fall 2013 RTW collection. As dress designers usually do, the collection contains the same general fabrics and style shown a couple of ways, but there are some great pieces in the 32 piece collection.

Ignoring the weird legging-type-things going on with this piece, I am loving this dress. White has become the new black in terms of cocktail dresses, and this is no exception. And the detailing along the top and neckline – to die for.

I really love the grey and black pattern of this dress, and the A-line silhouette. The baseball cap can go, and again, the weird leggings, but otherwise – it’s fabulous.

I love everything about this dress – the color, the shape, the detailing along the waist.

The cut of the neckline of this dress is great, and pretty unique when it comes to a cocktail dress. The metallic detail throughout the dress gives it a bit of brightness against the dark eggplant color of the fabric (which I love), and while I am not necessarily in love with the idea of a full-frontal zipper that is quite visible, somehow it just works on this piece.
