Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is now the proud new momma of a bouncing baby girl.
Kim, who is dating Kanye West, went into labor on Friday evening, and by 2am Saturday had her baby girl in her arms. For his part, Kanye skipped out on his album release party to be with his girlfriend and their new born child, and refused to leave the room even as Kim was in the final stages of giving birth.
Kim’s friends and family also turned up at the hospital to show their excitement for the new family. Best friends Jonathan Cheban and Brittany Gastineau (along with her mother Lisa Gastineau) stopped by the hospital with gifts and flowers for the new mother.
They baby girl’s name has yet to be released, but Kim had spoken a few weeks ago about not necessarily sticking with the “K” name tradition in her family. Although she did joke that she would name her child “Easton West.” Bonus points for an awesome sense of humor if she did!
