Jason Sudeikis, who is now better known as the fiance of Olivia Wilde (okay just kidding, people know who he is in his own right) has announced that he is officially leaving Saturday Night Live.
At the end of last season, it was a bit up in the air as to whether or not he would be leaving the show, although it was rumored that that would be the case. On the season finale, Bill Hader and Seth Meyers received their official SNL send offs, while Fred Armisen and Jason were still up in the air. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Fred would not be returning for next season.
Jason made his announcement during yesterday’s taping of David Letterman’s show. While he didn’t make any specific allusions to what he’d be doing in the future, it’s probably safe to assume that he’ll be hitting Hollywood and the movie business. He has already signed on to star in Horrible Bosses (2).
