Rumor has it that The Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) is dead-set against Prince Harry marrying his girlfriend, Cressida Bonas.
Apparently, The Duchess isn’t very fond of Cressida as she is the half-sister of Isabella Calthorpe. Who’s that, you ask? Well, she just so happens to be the reason that Prince William broke up with Kate briefly in 2007. Luckily for Kate, Isabella had no interest in William, which sent him running back into her arms. And eventually down the aisle.
Kate is, apparently, concerned that if Prince Harry begins to take things further with Cressida and proposes, as he is rumored to be planning, that Isabella will suddenly be brought closer into the royal fold. As it stands now, Isabella and Kate are not on good terms. She was invited to William and Kate’s wedding in 2011, but was not included on the invite list for the two receptions that followed.
Perhaps though, this rumor is just full of a lot of hot air. After all, William and Kate just welcomed their tiny bundle of joy – Prince George – into the world in July, and Isabella married Sam Branson earlier in the summer.
Chances are – even if Kate does feel a wee bit resentful of Isabella (and who could blame her, she did – after all – almost steal her man!) she probably isn’t going to take it out on Cressida and Harry, no matter how close Cress is to her sister.
