It’s official – Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have announced their engagement.
Kanye – ever the “go big or go home” type, proposed to Kim on October 21 with a 15 carat diamond ring. But that isn’t all that was completely out of this world – he also rented out an entire baseball stadium to pop the question, with “Pleeease Marry Meee!!!” scrolling across the score board.
And it doesn’t stop there! In the midst of all that, Kim was being serenaded by a 50-piece orchestra that was playing Lana Del Rey’s hit “Young and Beautiful” and Kanye’s song “Knock You Down.” When Kim said yes, fireworks exploded around the stadium as Kanye slipped the ring on her finger and her entire family came running out of the dug outs.
Whew! Kanye definitely went all out for this. No word on whether or not baby Nori was there (although, where else could she have been if the entire family was present).
Here’s to the happy couple, and perhaps the third time (for Kim) will be the charm!
