The Duchess of Cambridge Presented Shamrocks In New Hobbs Coat Dress

The Duchess of Cambridge, who annually partakes in the St. Patrick’s Day festivities by pinning shamrocks to the 1st Battalion Irish Guards, of which her husband (Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge) is Colonel, stepped out today in a new green coat dress.

Her Royal Highness – formerly Kate Middleton – has presented the shamrocks in two previous years, and both times wore the same green coat dress. This year, however, she turned to a new frock and a new fascinator for this occasion. Her pine green coat dress is from Hobbs, while her head piece is from Gina Foster. The Duchess also kept things festive with her makeup, and was said to be wearing “moss green” eyeshadow.

The new green coat is the Persephone Trench from Hobbs, which regulalry retails for $490 but is currently on sale for $345.

Here is the description from Hobbs:

Choose the Persephone trench in pine green for understated elegance. The cut and sew design, raw edges, traditional storm flap and epaulette detailing provide plenty of contemporary cool. Layer over sleek, clean silhouettes and add color with accessories.
