Style Stalker | The Duchess of Cambridge

Is there anyone who does it better than The Duchess of Cambridge (nee Kate Middleton)? Whether she’s talking a walk through a park with Prince George or heading to a cocktail reception, she always looks flawless.

During their recent tour through New Zealand and Australia Prince William and The Duchess undertook a ton of engagements, and the number of outfit changes that Kate made was astounding. But my absolute favorite look was a white cocktail dress that Kate wore to a reception on April 24.

The Little White Dress (which is basically the best thing to hit fashion since the Little Black Dress) that Kate chose to wear was by American designer Lela Rose, which was a bit of a surprise to most people who were carefully watching Kate’s wardrobe. Usually during foreign tours the royal women try to stick with designers that have some sort of tie to the country they’re visiting, but on this tour we only saw Kate wear three designers with New Zealand or Aussie ties.

What I love most about this dress is that it’s simple and classy with a bit of a twist. If you look closely the dress has a peplum detail that matches the detail on the sleeves of the dress, highlighting Kate’s tiny waist.

Kate paired the dress with black pumps and a black clutch, as well as the diamond jewelry that she typically wears on occasions such as these. The gorgeous diamond bracelet is believed to be part of a set that Prince Charles gave Kate as a wedding gift.
