After weeks of speculation (and a website that required you to sign up to a VIP list for entry), the wait is over and the first two products from the range have been revealed. It looks like the wait the range will work is each girl will release the same product, but with their personal twist.
The first product is a black cropped top. Kendall’s shows off her high-fashion tendencies with a more fitted appearance and the bottom of the shirt arching upwards. Kylie’s – meanwhile – is a straight across tank top, with her name and “97” (the year she was born) emblazoned across the front.
When the tops initially hit the store they were each listed for $42 – whaaaat?! However, a couple of hours later an email appeared in my inbox with the message “We hear you!” The duo (or, ahem, their team) stated that the price of the shirts had been dropped, presumably because their core audience (tweens and teens) couldn’t possibly afford $48 half-shirt, nor could they justify it to their parents.
Each shirt is now retailing for $28.00 (which still seems a little steep to me, but c’est la vie.)
