Netflix is spending £100 million on their new show The Crown, and I am thrilled about it!
After eyeing the success of period dramas like Downton Abbey and Wolf Hall, Netflix has decided to jump on the bandwagon with a new show that will follow the life of Queen Elizabeth II from her wedding through the present.
Claire Foy, who is no stranger to British period dramas and was amazing in Upstairs Downstairs and as Anne Boleyn in Wolf Hall, will be starring as The Queen during her younger years. And she. looks. stunning.
Personally, I think they did an amazing job of casting Her Majesty, as this wedding scene recreation is spot on!
