Holiday Gift Guide #3 – Gifts for the Budget Conscious

Gifts are given to all types of people in your life – significant others, family members, friends, co-workers, your kid’s teacher, whoever. And while everyone would love to give every single person on their list a $100+ luxury item, sometimes that just isn’t possible (or practical). But you can still give phenomenal gifts on a budget!
Ladies

Company: Forever 21
Feature Item: Open Knit Scarf, $8.80

This scarf looks SO insanely comfy that I want to go buy one right now and just snuggle up with it with a cup of hot coco and a movie. On the Forever 21 website it is shown only in brown, however tons of other retailers sell similar items in various colors and patterns. This Forever 21 version, however, is the most reasonably priced one I’ve found.
Gents
Company: Clinique
People tend to think that guys are the lower-maintenance of the sexes, but I beg to differ. Unless the guy in your life is sporting a mountain-man beard, he is shaving every single day. Even guys who sport some stubble on a daily basis need to maintain it so he doesn’t start looking like Chewbaca. And most of the time, guys have more than just a razor and some shaving cream to help them get the look they’re going for.
This Clinique set could be the perfect addition to his plethora of manly grooming supplies. The monochromatic color pallet keeps it from shouting “Look at me! I use Clinique!”, and can be tucked away into the cute useful carry case if he wants to avoid taking flack from his bros. The carry case can also double as a toiletry kit for weekends away if your guy is still in the habit of throwing his things in a ziploc bag before he hits the road.
