Whew! The fall semester is winding down, and the holiday season is gearing up. That means that I am SUPER busy… and my procrastination (and coincidentally, my working under pressure & multi-tasking) abilities are getting quite the work out. Doing regular course readings, while starting to study for finals, and keeping up with this lovely site, AND working with my best friend on a new endeavor (that shall remain a secret for now, but that we hope will blow up and make us zillionaires) is exhausting. But I work better when I am super busy – otherwise, if I’ve got too much time to sit around and do nothing I … well … do nothing.

I am still on the “undecided” path as to whether or not to stick it out in law school, which is kiiind of becoming a problem since I had told myself that I would come to a final decision before the end of the semester. I did fairly well on my midterm exams, and registered for classes for next semester… it’s kind of feeling like I will be staying. I am starting to get into a routine and thinking that – worse comes to worst, I will either a) get my real estate license and do real estate + real estate law (or something) or b) open my own law firm.
Yes, I think I just made the final decision to stay in law school.
Anyway – I hope you all have been enjoying the Holiday Gift Guide! I’ve gotten a little lazy in the last few days, I admit it. But I plan on working over this weekend to get a bit ahead of the game. Unfortunately, as finals approach y’all may have to get by with only 1 item per day (unisex, as opposed to 1 ladies and 1 gents). A travesty, I know. But I think you all will manage.
AND! So many amazing things have happened this week in the world of celebrities and pop culture, and I’ve wanted to do separate blog posts on all of them, but alas – I just don’t think I have the time. So here is a quick recap of some of my FAVORITE things:
- Prince William & Kate Middleton FINALLY getting engaged.
- I can’t WAIT for their wedding, which will most likely be televised!!
- Rachel Zoe officially announcing her pregnancy (and, might I add – pregnancy suits her, she looks AMAZING!)
- Note: The Rachel Zoe Project is one of my all-time favorite shows… I die.
- Eva Longoria & Tony Parker announcing their divorce because… wait for it… he cheated on her… with his teammates wife.
- Jessica Simpson getting engaged a few days after her ex-husband got engaged… & the fact that Jessica may have bought her own engagement ring (sad, but not shocking).
- Finding out Jessica Simpson is worth $100million (yes, that was an event in and of itself).
