So, I recently discovered a FANTASTIC website, courtesy of College Prepster, called Polyvore where you can create wardrobe sets! So … now I know what I will be doing during boring law school classes (here’s looking at you, Crim. Law).
I tweeted a couple of days ago that I had already picked out my Thanksgiving outfit (yay!) and a friend responded that she wanted me to pick one out for her. I had been contemplating how to do this prior to discovering Polyvore. Now that I’ve found it – I will probably make sets for everyone/every occasion possible.
Just FYI – This particular friend is short (shorter than me, and I am 5’2″!) and has a fantastic pear shape going on.
For her I chose:
- A belted black high-waisted pleated skirt
- (that sounds like it’s for a private school uniform, but if you clicked the link you will see that it isn’t)
- An ivory lace vintage-looking tank top
- (to be worn tucked in)
- A comfy beige cardigan
- Nude pumps
- A pair of gold chandelier earrings
The high-waisted skirt with pleats will accentuate her waist, and the nude pumps will make her legs look miles long (and the black heel adds an unexpected pop).
