I’ve had lots of in-person interviews, and even more phone interviews, but so far I haven’t had a job offer. I’m hoping that things turn around soon, because I am really, really hating this unemployment thing. Thankfully my parents have been amazing (yes, I live at home with my parents) and haven’t threatened to kick me out yet, haha.
Anyway.
I am a huge, HUGE Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fan. While I was in high school and college they were pretty much my idols. Since I was a little tyke, people have been telling me I look a lot like them, and somehow that turned into them being my greatest heros. Yeah – I don’t quite get it anyway. But – doing what I do with pretty much all celebrities – I learned tons of useless information about them. Including the facts that they have siblings.

Now, this is relevant because as of late, most blogs I’ve been reading have been posting articles shocked that, not only do the Olsen twins have a younger sister – Elizabeth, aka “Lizzie” – but that she is an actress.
Uhm – why would this be shocking? She looks eerily similar to them, and her two older sisters are insanely famous (and rich). (You’ll notice from the picture of the entire Olsen clan above, that Lizzie is a lot taller than her older sisters.)

Anyway – Lizzie is being touted as the next fashion “it girl”. Style blogs everywhere are obsessing about her wardrobe choices, which is a toned down version of her sisters’ boho look.
I however, am not as impressed with Lizzie’s style as apparently every other blogger on the Internet. Her sisters own their own design company (with three clothing lines – The Row, Elizabeth and James, and OlsenBoye … Elizabeth and James is actually named after Lizzie), and while I am not a huge fan of their crazy bag-lady look, they’re bonafide celebrities and obviously enjoy looking a little eccentric.
Lizzie seems like she is just doing the typical little sister thing, and trying to emulate her older sisters. However, since her career isn’t nearly as established as theirs, she can’t take such huge fashion risks, and she can’t present the air of “not caring”, because at this point she really, really needs to care.
So, after the jump I will post some more pictures of Lizzie’s style, and you can decide for yourself whether or not you think she is the next “it girl”, or if she just dresses like every other Hollywood starlet.
