So, you may have noticed that there have been some slight tweaks to the design and layout of the blog. I am trying to keep things clean & simple, which resulted in the removal of some features that I felt probably weren’t being used much anyway.
- The most important change I made (in my opinion) is that I’ve added a tag cloud. While I tend to tag posts with lots of different tags, I have decided to display about 20 of the most common tags I use. The tags used most frequently are bolded and appear larger than the other tags, so you can quickly find what you’re looking for in the archives of the blog. Going forward, all posts will be grouped into 1 of these 20ish tags. Eventually, I hope to narrow down the list to just a few key topics (celebrities, fashion, etc.) but for now… well, take a look to your right!
- I’ve removed the Twitter feed & Facebook “Like” Button & Facebook stream. I felt that these were overwhelming the posts, so they’re gone. But please remember to follow The Blogtini on Twitter – @TheBlogtini. I post a lot on Twitter throughout the day on most days, so be sure you’re always keeping up!
- I’ve added a “Link Love” gadget that has the links to The Blogtini’s tumblr, as well as the All Royal tumblr. (In case you’re just arriving, “All Royal” is a tumblr specifically geared toward… all things royal. It grew out of my obsession with all things related to the Royal Wedding, and Prince William & Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s 2011 Royal Tour of Canada and the trip to Los Angeles, California.)
