Alright, so this isn’t a traditional “Who Wore It Better” – because I’m not talking about an article of clothing. I’m talking about a hair style.
I also think this one is a complete no-brainer.
The trend-setting reality TV darling, Lauren Conrad, recently was spotted out & about sporting some “tie-dyed” locks. Honestly, when I saw that I wasn’t a fan. I don’t get the dying 1 strip of hair look, & I certainly don’t understand why you’d want to dye your hair a bunch of different colors – oh well, call me boring. But – while it didn’t suit my personal preferences, I didn’t think it looked too terrible…

So, while I patiently waited for this trend to go away, Kate Bosworth also debuted a colorful look. Hers, however, seems to be a major flop.
While the color of Lauren’s hair is vibrant and fun, Kate’s looks washed out and dull. To me, it looks like Kate tied her hair in a pony tail, dipped the end of it into a container of paint & then tried to wash it out but couldn’t.It also looks like Kate decided that she didn’t want to bother brushing her hair. While her hair is naturally very thin – it looks incredibly stringy here (but maybe that’s just the blue dye playing tricks on my eyes).
Lauren’s, on the other hand, looks professionally done, and seems like she even styled it for the day she spent with her friends.
So what do you think? Did Lauren definitely wear it best? And is this trend here to stay – or will we go back to dying our hair colors actually found in nature?
