This summer, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore a gorgeous Jenny Packham gown to the ARK Gala, her first official outing post-wedding. Per usual, she looked stunning and it most certainly put Packham on the map.

Fast forward a couple months, and Packham has just showed her Spring 2012 collection at New York Fashion Week, and it seems to me she might be a bit of a one trick pony. Her Spring 2012 styles closely resemble the dress Catherine wore, although they have different beading designs and fabrics.

Some dresses in Packham’s collection even seem to take a cue from other designers, specifically the Alexander McQueen gown that Catherine wore during her trip to LA and the BAFTA event.
