When you have been laid off, and are feeling super depressed and pity-partyish, the worst thing you can do is eat your feelings.

Get your life in order, tidy up your resume, and take your mind off things by doing anything other than eating a very large dinner (consisting of mostly mashed potatoes) and washing it down with a bag of Watermelon Sour Patches, popcorn, and hot chocolate.
Because then you will not only be sad about being unemployed, but you’ll also be sad about the calories that are turning to fat on your butt. You’ll also have a stomach ache and headache from eating way too much sugar way too fast.
