MTV’s hit reality show, The Hills, is making it’s way back to TV!
Well – kind of. While there isn’t any new filming taking place, the network is released a new alternate ending, three years after the series ended. While the show started by following Lauren Conrad’s life in LA, when she decided to leave the show the producers reverted to a tried and true method to keep it going. It was, in fact, the same method they used to keep Laguna Beach alive – they brought in Kristin Cavallari as the show’s focal point.
How could there be an “alternate ending” to a reality show? Well – if you recall the final scene of the show, the camera panned out to reveal a set, and showed Kristin hopping into a limo. The ladies and gents who took place in the show have also hinted that there was much more scripting going on than the general public knew at the time.
The alternate ending will be airing in August, and will – of course – be preceded by The Hills marathon!
