Sarah, Duchess of York (the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, The Duke of York) and Julian Fellows – the creator/writer of Downton Abbey, may be teaming up – again.
In 2009, before Downton Abbey was a household phrase, Julian Fellows wrote the script to the hit period-drama The Young Victoria, which was produced by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. The flick, starring Emily Blunt, told the story of Queen Victoria’s accession to the throne after the death of her uncle, and her romance and subsequent marriage to Prince Albert. Now, four years later, Sarah Ferguson and Fellows are hoping to usher in the sequel.
While Julian Fellows has admitted that he’s contemplating the idea, Sarah’s reps have been far less coy – admitting they’ve reached out to Fellows and have their fingers crossed for a positive result.
