The announcement came after months of bump-watching, weeks of hospital watching, and hours of anxiously awaiting the official news after she’d been admitted to the hospital on July 22 at around 5:30am UK time. (This included watching a live-stream of the closed door of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London, UK for hours upon hours!)
The newborn prince is third in line to the throne of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth Realms after his father, Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge and just ahead of his uncle, Prince Harry.
