Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales – and now officially known as the grandfather of the royal baby Prince George, has revealed what he’d like Prince George to call him when he gets older.
Charles, who is affectionately called “Sir,” by his step-children, told a crowd of well-wishers today that he’d like to be known as “Grandpa,” rather than “Granddad.”
When asked what his wife, Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, will be called, she said that “the family” hasn’t decided yet, but that her own grandchildren call her GaGa. Perhaps little Prince George will do the same!
It seems that, although Camilla’s start with the royal family was a bit stilted, she’s certainly been accepted. She has a warm relationship with her step-sons, Princes William and Harry, and also seems to enjoy spending time with The Duchess of Cambridge (nee Kate Middleton).
