A few months ago, Cara Delevingne had her first taste of bad press.
As she was calling it a night and trying to get into her London flat, she dropped a small clear bag full of what looked like white powder. And there were paparazzi everywhere. Cara quickly covered up the baggie, but for a couple of days she was the talk of the town. And then no one cared.
The entire incident seemed to blow over with zero repercussions for Cara, but it’s just come out that H&M has dropped her from their label. Well, kind of.
According to the folks over at H&M, Cara was never contracted to model for them, and was most certainly not “the face of their brand.” In fact, they say that they only used Cara once – to model in their show during fashion week.
So, what’s the actual story? Is H&M trying to distance itself from Cara’s party-girl image, or is this truly a non-story that’s getting blown out of proportion?
