Rumor has it that TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and their son Prince George, may be headed back to Anglesey, Wales.
It’s been rumored for a few months now that Prince William would not be renewing his contract with the RAF, and that he would be accepting a position with the Household Cavalry that would have him stationed in London. However, news is now coming out that later this week Kate and baby Prince George will be headed to Anglesey , Wales where William and Catherine have been living in a rented 5-bedroom farmhouse for the last few years.
For the duration of her pregnancy, Kate was either in London or Bucklebury and Prince William went to London (or Bucklebury) whenever he was not on shift with the RAF to be with her. Some (myself included) speculated as to whether or not The Cambridges even still held the lease on the farmhouse. But it appears that they do, in fact, still hold the lease and will be spending some more time there with Prince George in an effort to remain under the radar.
It’s unclear as to what this means for Prince William’s RAF career.
They could elect to stick it out in Wales for the duration of his contract, with the intention of moving to London permanently in the fall (and perhaps this is just a trip to start packing things up?), or this could be a signal that William plans to renew his RAF contract and remain in Wales for a few more years.
