Fact. We loved Laguna Beach, and Lauren (Lo) Bosworth was one of the best pieces of the show. Down-to-Earth, silly, and a loyal friend to Lauren Conrad, what wasn’t to like?!
It seems now that Lo is happily cashing in on that likability. After a few years out of the spotlight, living in New York City, Lo has decided to follow in LC’s footsteps once again. Like her friend, Lo has launched her own digital media empire. Where LC decided to write books, though, Lo has decided to create YouTube videos.
But let’s start at the beginning.
Toward the end of June it was announced that Lo, along with Christianne Amodio, would be launching their own ecommerce site for the hostess with the mostest. Or at least, for the hostess who wanted to throw a great party but didn’t want to be bothered with the details. Their site, Revelry House, aimed to make party planning a breeze, selling ready-made party kits that include all the supplies for a great night with friends and/or family. They also launched a magazine to accompany the site that includes party tips, etiquette advice, and – of course – recipes.
From there, Lo launched her own website – TheLoDown.com. With the first post going up on August 4, Lo promised her readers to focus on her three passions – food, fashion, and beauty. Thus far, the majority of posts have been featured around the savory dishes that Lo whips up “at least four times per week” for her boyfriend.
Finally, Lo’s YouTube channel came into play. After inspiring us on Instagram with snaps of her gorgeous at-home manicures and to die for curls, Lo decided it was time for a place where she could provide her fans with proper tutorials and a glimpse into her real life. Check out her first video below (we love the beginning sequence)!
So now that Lo’s decided to take the digital media world by storm, and launch her official lifestyle branding opportunities, we’re excited to see what comes next! We’re already in love with Revelry House (pretty much the adult version of Party Pieces, for all you royal watchers out there!), and are totally envious of her DIY mani abilities.
Let us know what you think of Lo’s new YouTube channel – there’s already a few great videos up!
