Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of The Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) and now aunt to Prince George, is officially not engaged.
After weeks of speculation about a “secret engagement,” Pippa’s lawyers have reached out to the press to declare, once and for all, that there has been no engagement, nor is one “imminent or planned.”
With that, it looks like the party-planner extraordinaire won’t be planning her own royal-in-law wedding anytime soon. It’s probably for the best – after all, she should probably wait until little Prince George can walk so he can effectively fulfill his duties as ring bearer/page boy.
(Also, this has us wondering – as The Duchess of Cambridge, and future Queen, is Kate eligible to stand in as matron-of-honor, or is there something in the Royal Handbook that precludes her from such plebeian activities?)
