The official photos from Prince George’s christening have been released by Clarence House, and they’re absolutely amazing.
The photographs, which were taken by famed celebrity photographer Jason Bell, depict the royal family – including The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Queen, and Prince Harry along side Kate’s parents and siblings.
It seems that the wardrobe selections for the christening and photoshoot were carefully made, with everyone wearing shades of blue and cream, including The Queen.
There were no photographs of just The Middleton Family and The Cambridges released, most likely due to the fact that they are private citizens. However there was a photograph released of the members of the royal family that were present.
In a move that caused quite a bit of controversy, most members of the royal family were not invited to the christening. Only Prince George’s paternal great-grandparents (The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh), grandparents (The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Middleton), and aunt and uncles (Prince Henry of Wales, James Middleton, and Pippa Middleton) were in attendance.
Also in attendance were Prince George’s seven godparents and their spouses, as well as his nanny.
The most iconic photo of the bunch is the photograph of The Queen along with her three direct heirs; Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales; Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge; and Prince George of Cambridge.
