It’s been a few days, but I’ve finally decided to sit down and think about my New Years Resolutions. There’s some statistic out there that says 80% of people will break their resolutions within the first month… and that’s always me. Always. So this year I’m trying to be a bit more realistic.
Here we go!
- Not only would I like to lose weight (approx. 20lbs) but I want to get fit and healthy. There’s a big reason for this – and I’ll be posting that in a couple of days, so stay tuned! 😉 {If you follow me on Tumblr or Twitter, then you’re already well aware.}
- There are some things with my anxiety that I need to get under control – namely my fear of flying and the completely irrational fear of nuts.
- Don’t sweat the small stuff. 2014 is going to be a stressful year for me – and I need to enjoy it rather than stress out about it.
- Continue blogging more and building The Blogtini into something you all enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing it. I’m going to try to set myself to a regular blog schedule, and stick with it.
- Vlog! Yep – you read that right. In addition to blogging, I also intend to start a YouTube channel. (So if you’ve got any questions, suggestions, or recommendations please feel free to leave them in the comments!)
- Get better at budgeting and saving money. I have no idea what it is that I spend my money on, but I rarely save more than a couple hundred dollars per month. So I need to keep a much better eye on that!
- Swear less. And say “like” less. Just work on my vocabulary in general, I guess. There’s no need for me to use filler words and swear to make a point when I know loads of other perfectly acceptable, non-offensive, words.
What are some of your 2014 Resolutions? Let me know in the comments!
