Alright so – I have a love for all things celebrity & pop culture. I also love, love, love the British royal family. No idea why, I’ve just always been obsessed. The Brits are so prim and proper and preppy. How could you NOT love them?

Anyway – this morning Prince William and my idol Kate Middleton FINALLY ANNOUNCED THEIR ENGAGEMENT! Yes, that needs to be capitalized and bolded, because these two have been playing a game of “will they/won’t they” with the press for the last few years.
Their story is one that every single little girl dreams of – she went to University, met the heir to the royal throne and fell in love, and now she gets to be a real life princess. It probably helped that her family, who opened their own company in 1987, are millionaires in their own right and thus she is not after him for his money (… but his title doesn’t hurt).
So – congrats to the happy couple, who obviously must be responsible for the 10 hits from the UK I’ve gotten since moving from WordPress to Blogger.
