Happy New Year!
Well, 2010 was not a great year for my family & myself. While there were some high points:
- me getting a raise at my last job
- getting into law school (& doing fairly well in my first semester)
- my youngest sister getting accepted into her first college
- my younger sister (the middle child) graduating college & accepting a full-time job managing a great restaurant.
There were also some really, really low points. My older cousin died of a very short battle with cancer which shook my entire family & has us all still reeling, and a boy in my sister’s grade (she is a senior in high school) died a couple days before Christmas in a freak accident (and in a small town like mine – it was devastating to the whole community).
So coming off a pretty crap year – I am hoping 2011 brings only good things. I’m still undecided about what I will do with my law school journey (and since classes resume next week, I should probably figure it out quickly), but I’m looking to get back into PR/Marketing & maybe even do some freelance writing in the mean time (so uhm, if anyone knows of any PR/Marketing positions in Boston/Providence – or even Nashua, NH – feel free to shoot me a comment at theblogtini at gmail dot com with info!) I’ve started writing [yet another] book – & actually want to finish it & then perhaps publish it via PubIt!.
In 2011 I am also going to focus more on this blog into a lifestyle blog (… but still keep some of the random rants & raves of my personal life).
