Just a quick little post to say a huge thank you to the folks over at Nordstrom!
Last week I sent my beloved Longchamp bag in to get repaired, her poor corners were tearing. I pondered buying a new bag, but it appears they’ve retired my color of choice. I have also been spending a lot of money lately on things I don’t necessarily need, so I was weary of buying another bag.
The wonderful sales associate at Nordstrom told me I could drop my bag there, they’d send it out to Longchamp for repair, and in a couple weeks it would be back. Well wouldn’t you know 4 days later they called to tell me it was all set. And when I picked it up it looked brand spanking new! Corners fixed, professionally cleaned inside & out. Amazing!!
Moral of the story: Nordstrom is awesome. Longchamp is awesome. And it felt good to repair something I love, rather than to replace it.
