Cubicle Wear

One of the things I enjoy most about my company is their approach to our wardrobe. The dress code is basically “don’t look like a homeless person.” Alright, it’s a little more stringent than that – but not really.
While I’ve seen some of my co-workers come into work in some questionable outfits (crappy plastic flip flops, baseball caps, an athletic t-shirt from their alma mater with jeans), I try to look presentable and put together every day, without looking overdressed. Getting myself into a productive mindset begins when I’m getting ready in the morning, and while my work attire doesn’t really matter to anyone but me (since I go from my car to my cubicle and rarely see another human being until I leave at 5pm) it makes me feel better knowing that, should someone wander into my cube, they won’t think I just rolled out of bed.
(Please note: I always wear a belt to work, but I just couldn’t find any cute enough ones on Polyvore. Also, note that I am a complete Polyvore novice, bear with me!)

So what do you think? If you could wear anything to work – would you dress it up or down?
