I don’t get it. And I’m SORRY!
I know that’s annoying to all the people in my family who have them in their heads, and who professionally install them in other people’s heads for a living… but I do not get it.
First of all – the “good” ones are made of REAL Ostrich feathers. So all I can think is, “Aw, thats poor Ostrich.” And then – every time someone shows me their “awesome feathers!!!!” I see 1 teensy-weesny strand of color in their hair – it looks like they took 3 pieces of their own hair and dyed it teal.
And I get it, they aren’t supposed to be SUPER noticeable and obtrusive – that would defeat the purpose of the subtlety of it … yata yata yata. But … what’s the point? Maybe it’s the preppiness in me – but I just don’t see the appeal of having feathers that were on a WILD ANIMAL (uh, germs anyone?) attached to your head … especially when you can barely see them.
