Over Labor Day weekend Lauren Bush, niece of former President George W. Bush, and grand-daughter of former President George H.W. Bush, married David Lauren, son of famed fashion designer Ralph Lauren, and America got to have our own little version of the Royal Wedding.
{Note: No, I never counted Kim Kardashian’s media-blitz as the “American Royal Wedding,” and apparently she barely even considered it a wedding – so … there’s that.}
So yes, that makes her name Lauren Lauren – although she will hyphenate her maiden name and husband’s last name, and officially become Lauren Bush-Lauren (which is still kind of funny).
Anyway, some photos from the wedding are being released and they’re breathtaking.
Lauren’s wedding gown was designed by her famous father-in-law, and is absolutely stunning.
