In what literally may be the least surprising news ever, Amanda Bynes has been detained for a mental health evaluation.
Apparently, the most recent Hollywood starlet to lose her darn mind was reported for being drunk in public, trespassing, and starting a fire at a retirement community in California. When police arrived on the scene they determined that she was eligible for a 5150 – which is the California Welfare and Institutions code for involuntary hospitalization for mental evaluation.
Amanda has had a string of run-ins with the law recently, both in California and New York City, and seems to be having a very public break down. A few months ago, she was arrested for throwing a bong out the window of her hotel room.
