Prince Harry will be headed to Australia next month, Kensington Palace confirmed today.
The prince – who is currently fourth in line to the throne after his father, Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, his brother Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge, and his nephew, Prince George of Cambridge – last visited Australia in 2003 during his gap year, where he worked on a cattle ranch, before entering the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Kensington Palace – when addressing the itinerary and purpose of Prince Harry’s trip, confirmed that he will be the guest of honor at the Australian Navy’s centenary fleet gala on October 5, 2013.
This will mark Prince Harry’s first official trip to Australia, and follows his wildly successful tour of the Caribbean on behalf of his grandmother The Queen during her Jubilee celebration.
