It seems that Justin Timberlake has gotten himself a personal designer and it’s… Tom Ford?
Okay, not exactly. But Tom Ford did design over 600 custom pieces for Justin Timberlake’s upcoming 20/20 world tour. The massive suite of designer duds includes eight full ensembles for Justin’s wardrobe changes, as well as the clothing for the dancers, backup singers, and band members.
According to the press release from Tom Ford, he was drawn to working with Justin Timberlake for a myriad of reasons, including the fact that he’s got his own “great personal style.” He statement read,
Justin has great personal style and knows what he wants which makes designing for him an absolute pleasure. He is a tremendous talent and has a kind of effortless cool that makes classic menswear tailoring modern.
In addition to designing all of the clothing for the tour, Tom Ford has also been designing/styling for Justin since 2011 and has been the mastermind behind notable appearances such as the 20/20 album cover, the 2013 Grammys, and the Suit and Tie video.
