Figures.

So. Short story. I decided to quit law school. Went on a 2 day applying for jobs blitz, revamped my resume, cover letter, etc., and then decided to stay in school. I sent an e-mail to my family saying that I promise to just stay in school and quit complaining about it. This was 2 days ago.

Welp – wouldn’t you know that this morning I get a call from a company that wants to interview me for my “dream” job. The job I thought didn’t exist, and that I wouldn’t really have a shot at.

Ok – so it isn’t my DREAM job. It’s the assistant to my dream job, which is a step in the right direction.

So, I made an interview appointment, and am just going to see what happens. I mean – let them offer me a job. Until then, I am not actively pursuing job opportunities and if they offer me a job THEN I will have a problem. Right now, no problem. I am just a lowly, bored to death, 1L.

In completely related news: I am going to buy a new suit (I’ll need one anyway if I stay in law school for internship interviews and stuff eventually), and I am wicked excited to go on this interview.

Ok. The end. 🙂
