Oscars – Best Dressed

Y’all know me – I love my awards shows! So obviously I’ve been watching this evening since red carpet coverage started at 7pm.
Here are my top six (I know, I know – but I can never make up my mind!) picks for Best Dressed. This is in a particular order – specifically, least favorite to favorite, with 1 honorable mention.
{Disclaimer: I can’t remember which website I snagged some of the photos from, but I assure y’all that they are not mine, and I do not own the rights to them. So uhm – please don’t sue me. K, thanks!}
HONORABLE MENTION: Armie Hammer isn’t too hard on the eyes, and neither is
his wife Elizabeth Chambers. Her dress is STUNNING. Unfortunately, she “doesn’t count,” so she
couldn’t officially be in my top six. So – yeah.

NUMBER 6: Gwyneth Paltrow in Calvin Klein
I think this dress is gorgeous, if not a bit space-aged. But for some reason, it
just absolutely works for her.

NUMBER 5Hailee Steinfeld in Marchesa
According to her red carpet interview, she designed this dress (well, sketched it out) & they delivered
exactly what she had in mind, which goes to show that Marchesa is amazing, and Hailee is a bright girl.
This dress totally works for her it doesn’t look too mature, while at the same time not looking too young.

NUMBER 4: Halle Berry in Marchesa
I love the detail on this dress, from the beading to the tulle, flowy train. And the
color is great! And, of course, her figure looks fantastic.

NUMBER 3: Jennifer Hudson in Versace
This color is amazing. The cut is amazing. The embellishment on the side
is amazing. Her body looks AMAZING. The only thing I’m not CRAZY
about is that when she was walking the red carpet, it looked like one of her
boobs was trying to escape the dress… so that was awkward.

NUMBER 2: Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein
This dress is gorgeous. I love the color, and her simple jewelry (just 1 bracelet!).
I also love that it doesn’t look like she’s trying too hard, while knocking it out
of the park. Oh – and it’s sexy without being slutty, so that’s great.
However, Scarlett Johansson DID wear a similar dress a few years ago so – points off for that.
NUMBER 1: Mila Kunis is Elie Saab
I love the color. I love the texture. And the cut. And the style.
And the length (which you can’t see because I grabbed a shitty photo).
And I was expecting her to come out in something much more BAM, so this
romantic number was a nice surprise.
