Country Music – 2011 ACM Awards

So ~ last night was the Academy of Country Music Awards. And I LOVE me some country. Love love LOVE. 

There’s a few reasons I love country music, but one of the biggest reasons is that it sounds great live, on the CD, in the car, when I sing it (ok, maybe not so much that last one). I’ve noticed that with a LOT of pop singers, I tend to be disappointed when they sing live, but a country crooner has never disappointed during a live performance.

I also kind of sort of love country fashion. Summer-y fabrics year round (Nashville IS a warm place, after all) cowboy boots & hats. Flannel. Love it all.
